Hydro Seeding is the process where we incorporate in a 500 gallon water tank, wood mulch, tackifier, fertilizer, and your choice of grass seed. During the Spring and Summer months, we also include a pre-emergent to help control some of the annual grasses.
The mulch will hold up to 250 times it weight in water. With the purchase of our new Finn T60 hydro seeder, we are now able to apply 2000 pounds (1 ton) of mulch per acre. Under ideal conditions in the Fall, you can be mowing your lawn in as little as 18 days.
The cost of Hydro Seeding is around 1/4th to 1/3rd the price of sodding your lawn.
